Discontinue Your Utility Services

This task should actually be one of the last on your list. However, it’s an important one that many people forget to do. Before leaving, notify the utility companies about the move and discontinue all of your services. This includes:

  • Telephone and internet
  • Magazine and newspaper subscriptions
